Welcome to Landmark Lecture 2011
The Division of Cardiac Surgery, St. Michael's Hospital, University of Toronto and Canadian Cardiovascular Research Network were pleased host the 6th annual, acclaimed "Landmark Lecture" series on Monday, November 28th. The Landmark Lecture is a unique educational platform introduced by the division of Cardiac Surgery, and complements our efforts to enhance research, education, clinical care, and inter-specialty collaboration within the Greater Toronto Area.
Established in 2006, the Landmark Lecture Series featured Professor Salim Yusuf in its inaugural year, Professor Eugene Baunwald in 2007, Dr. Steven Nissen in 2008, Professor Louis Ignarro in 2009 and Dr. Valentin Fuster in 2010 and it was our distinct privilege this year to have Dr. Robert Califf as the Landmark Lecturer for 2011. Dr. Califf's lecture was entitled: The CV Crystal Ball - Predicting the Next Decade of Cardiovascular Medicine.
Dr. Califf’s lecture was an insightful and inspiring world class lecture that drew specialists and medical professionals from all over the GTA. A webcast recording of his presentation is available for review on this site.
